Therapy in the natural world
Spending time in nature is an effective way to slow down and connect more deeply with oneself. I believe this is because each of us is very much a part of the natural world — and when immersed in it, it becomes easier to feel and connect to one's own aliveness and authenticity.
For this reason, I have made sitting, walking, and hiking in nature a fundamental part of my work. I am passionate about helping people start to feel more of themselves as they become fully present in the natural world. From this place of presence, there is ample space to explore feelings and thought patterns that feed into the areas of oneself that need attention and healing.
Nature sessions are available as a complement to, or in place of, traditional office-based sessions. I offer these in the Santa Cruz area.
